How long have you been in business?
Gofer Girl started in St.Petersburg, Fl in 2006. In 2008 I moved out of state, but missed this area so much that I have returned and plan to retire here. Gofer Girl was reinstated in Florida March 2012.
What is your primary product or service?
Consider me your very own personal assistant. I provide pet services, house sitting, shopping, organizing, courier service, waiting in your home for the cable guy, utilities, etc., and running errands of course!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
While working at a temp agency, I overheard employees talking about how there is never enough time in the day to take care of chores, let alone have some valuable "down time". I could totally relate, and because I had been in the clerical field most of my life, "gopher" is a familiar term, usually directed towards a new hire, to "go fer this and go fer that"! And therein the business idea was formed.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There aren't many services I won't provide as long as I can perform it and it is moral and ethical!
I am reliable, trustworthy and will apply the same attention to your needs as if they were my own. I have never been without a dog in my life, and have a deep caring for all animals (ok, maybe not snakes and spiders!).

I currently gained full time employment due to the economy, so I am only available evenings and weekends. I am available to do home/pet sitting for 12 hr shifts between 6pm - 7am, and weekends by appointment.
